Abstract

Lombok Barat Regency Government has implemented many policies. However, several factors are suspected to be causing these policies not to function as intended, ranging from cultural aspects of the community, income inequality, and availability of government budgets, to many other possible factors. Policies aimed at improving the dimensions of the Human Development Index (HDI) will enhance both the HDI value and its growth.This study examines the HDI from various dimensions in Lombok Barat. The study's output, in the form of recommendations, is expected to provide input for the development of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) 2025-2029, ensuring that policies become more targeted and effective
